ヌタノサコ　知る人ぞ知る奥地のピーク（愛媛県松山市）標高513.6m

奥之城山からヌタノサコに向かいます。
1時間程度で進めます。

まずは奥之城山山頂にある貯水槽から続く立派な送水管に沿って降りていきます。
降りたら東道を北東に向かって進みます。
驚いたのがこの林道、ずっとコンクリート舗装されているのですよね。
もっと藪のような道を想像していたため、ちょっと拍子抜けです。

途中の竹林がきれいですが、単調な舗装道を20分ほど進みます。
ここで分岐点があります。
右手の奥に登山口があるのですが、この分岐点の真ん中を登って行ってもOKです。
ただし帰りの道をロストしがちですので、正規の登山口から登ることをお薦めします。
ちなみにYAMAPのデータでは登山口がわかりません。

登山口といってもそれらしきものはないのですが、青テープが見えます。
ここから這い登っていきましょう！
とにかく急登！
定期的に青テープがぶら下がっていますので、迷うことはないと思います。
この日は落ち葉で滑り、なかなかハードでした。

尾根に上がると、しばらくは青テープが誘導してくれます。
後半は青テープがなくなりますが、尾根道を進んでいきます。
後半に1ヶ所分岐があるので、ここはしっかり景色を見ておきましょう。
私は帰りに間違ってしまいました。

あとは道に沿って歩いていくと2つのピークがあり、奥のピークがヌタノサコです。
三角点は柳。
ヌタノサコと柳の、2つの標識がありました。
木々で眺望はありません。
が、AR山ナビを知ってから、眺望がない場所でも、木々の奥にある山々を知ることができます。
想像で見る風景も、なかなか楽しいものです。

ところでヌタノサコって何なのでしょうね？
調べてみましたが、よくわかりません。
サコは「迫」のことだとは思うのですが。
由来をご存じの方がおられましたら、ぜひ教えてくださいね。

右の道の竹林の奥に登山口があります
ですが、この分岐点の真ん中を登っていっても尾根に繋がります

青テープが定期的にあるので方向はわかりやすいです
急登で落ち葉が多く、かなり滑りやすいです

From Okunoshiro Mountain we will head to Nutanosako.
It will take about one hour to proceed.

First, descend along the fine water pipe leading from the water reservoir at the top of Mt.
Once down, take the east road heading northeast.
What surprised me was that this forest road is paved with concrete all the way.
It is a bit of a letdown because I had imagined a more bush-like path.

The bamboo forest along the way is beautiful, but you continue on the monotonous paved path for about 20 minutes.
Here you will come to a fork.
The trailhead is at the far right, but you can go up the middle of this junction.
However, since it is easy to lose your way on the way back, we recommend that you climb up from the regular trailhead.
Incidentally, the YAMAP data does not show any trailheads.

There is no trailhead, but you can see a blue tape.
Let’s crawl up from here!
Anyway, it is a steep climb!
Blue tapes are hung regularly, so you will not get lost.
On this day, it was slippery due to fallen leaves, and it was quite hard.

Once on the ridge, blue tape will guide you for a while.
In the latter half of the day, the blue tape disappears, but you continue on the ridge path.
There is one branch in the latter half of the day, so be sure to take a good look at the scenery here.
I made a mistake on the way back.

The rest of the way along the path will lead you to two peaks, the back peak is Nutanosako.
The triangular point is Willow.
There were two signs, one for Nutanosako and the other for Willow.
There was no view because of the trees.
However, since I learned about AR Mountain Navi, I can see the mountains behind the trees even in places where there is no view.
It is quite fun to see the scenery from your imagination.

By the way, what is Nutanosako?
I tried to look it up, but I am not sure.
I think “Sako” means “perplexity,” but I don’t know.
If anyone knows the origin, please let me know.
