城山・松船城跡　急斜面の先にある城跡の石垣（愛媛県松山市）標高249m

大久保山から城山へ。
白水台から福角へ抜ける道と、県道40号線の交差点。
この下に流れる川がホタルの名所ですね。
ここに餓鬼塚という金の鶏の伝説があります。
興味のある方は石碑と説明版があるのでぜひ。

さて、ここから川沿いの細道に入っていきます。
細道を進むと、折り返して登る道がありますので、ここを登っていきます。
登り続けると鉄塔に到着します。
YAMAPの踏み跡を見ると、ここから登っている方がいるのですが、笹薮で難しそうです。
少し下の場所から登っていきます。
この山はずっと急斜面です。
春先のこの季節は、急斜面に分厚い落ち葉の層が積もっています。
とにかく、滑る！滑る！
木々に掴まりながら登っていきます。
下りがかなり怖そう・・・

山頂にはきれいな石垣があります。
松船城跡。
解説によると、河野氏が高縄山城から湯築城へ居城を移した際に、二つの城を結ぶ大事な中間地点となった城だそうです。
あまりの急傾斜のため、この上に城があるなんて噓でしょ？と思っていたのですが、とても立派な石垣があり驚きました。
山頂には小さな広場のみで何もありませんが、きれいな眺望を楽しむことができました。
YAMAPの情報では、どなたかが標識をつけておられたようですが、見つけることができませんでした。

Okuboyama to Shiroyama.
The intersection of the road from Hakusuidai to Fukuzumi and Prefectural Road 40.
The river flowing below this is a famous spot for fireflies.
There is a legend of a golden chicken called “Gakki-zuka” here.
If you are interested, there is a stone monument and an explanatory plaque.

Now, from here, you will enter a narrow path along the river.
After following the narrow path, you will find a way to turn around and climb up the mountain.
Keep climbing and you will reach the tower.
According to the Yamap trail, some climbers are climbing from here, but it looks difficult due to the bamboo bushes.
We will climb up from a little lower place.
This mountain is steep all the way up.
In this early spring season, the steep slopes are covered with a thick layer of fallen leaves.
Anyway, it is slippery! Slippery!
We climbed up while holding on to the trees.
The descent is quite scary…

There is a beautiful stone wall at the top of the mountain.
Ruins of Matsufune Castle.
According to the explanation, when the Kono clan moved their castle from Takanawa Castle to Yuzuki Castle, this castle was an important intermediate point between the two castles.
The slope is so steep that I thought it was a lie that there was a castle on top of it. But I was surprised to find a very fine stone wall.
At the top of the mountain, there is nothing but a small plaza, but we were able to enjoy a beautiful view.
According to the Yamap information, someone had put a sign, but I could not find it.
