新宮神社・三本杉　愛媛県最樹高の大杉（愛媛県松山市）

今日は福見山と明神ヶ森へ。
以前、東温市の採石場からの神子野山道登山口から登ろうとしたのですが、道はあるのですが「これ、ブルドーザーじゃないと無理では？」ということで撤退しました。
今回は、三本杉登山口からリベンジです！

まずは、新宮神社にある三本杉にご挨拶。
見事な杉の木！
三本杉なのですが、株は2本。
そのうちの1本が途中2本に分かれています。
樹高は55メートルと50メートルで、愛媛県最大、四国2位の高さとなります。
大きすぎて写真に収めるのが大変！

木の下にある説明版によると、三本杉の樹齢は500年以上！
あれ？以前の説明版では樹齢360年となっていたので、いつの間にか樹齢がかなり延びていますね。
松山市と松山市教育委員会が記載されていましたが、今の説明版は松山市教育委員会のみ。
いつの間にか、説明版が新しくなっていたのですね。
（松山市文化財課のホームページは今も旧説明版の樹齢約360年を記載）

新宮神社にご挨拶して、まずは福見寺を目指します。

Today we went to Fukumiyama and Myojingamori.
I had previously tried to climb them from the Kamikono trailhead from the quarry in Toon City, but although there was a path, I thought, “Wouldn’t this be impossible without a bulldozer?” So we withdrew.
This time, we took our revenge from the Sambonsugi trailhead!

First, we greeted Sambonsugi at Shingu Shrine.
A magnificent cedar tree!
It is a sanbonsugi, but there are two stumps.
One of them is split into two in the middle.
At 55 meters and 50 meters tall, they are the largest in Ehime Prefecture and the second tallest in Shikoku.
They are so large that it is difficult to capture them in a photograph!

According to the explanatory plaque under the tree, the Sanbonsugi is over 500 years old!
Huh? The previous version of the tree said it was 360 years old, so the age of the tree has increased considerably before I knew it.
Matsuyama City and the Matsuyama City Board of Education were listed, but the current explanatory version only lists the Matsuyama City Board of Education.
When did the explanatory plate become new?
(The website of the Cultural Properties Division of Matsuyama City still lists the age of the tree as about 360 years old in the old explanation version.

After greeting Shingu Shrine, we will first go to Fukumi-ji Temple.
