高仙山・高仙神社 素晴らしき眺望 ただし車では気をつけて（愛媛県今治市）標高248.37m
早朝から、菊間町・大西町エリアの登山で、登り忘れていた高仙山へ。
コンクリート舗装された農免道路が登山口です。

高仙神社下の駐車場までは登れるとのことで、スクーターで登ってきました。
道は細いのですが、しばらくは舗装された走りやすい道。
そこから細くて急な杉木林の道に入ります。
杉枝で道が覆われており、とても滑ります。
もう少しで駐車場というところで、なんと巨大な倒木。

この場所でのスクーターストップは大変でした。
Uターン中に立ちごけです・・・
そこから徒歩に切り替え、高仙神社の駐車場に。
なんと、別方向に太めの車道が！
どうも、かなり大回りする車道があるようです。
駐車場から鳥居をくぐって、坂道を登っていきます。
しばらく登ると立派な祠が見えてきます。
この祠の前に、これまた立派な見晴台があります。
しまなみ海道の島々を一望できる展望スポットです。
早朝の山・海・青空の素晴らしい眺望を楽しめました。
さらに上に登ると鳥居があり、その先に高仙神社があります。
昔はこの場所に高仙城があったのだとか。
三角点は神社の右前あたりにありました。
素晴らしい眺望でお奨めですが、徒歩以外の方は回り道を探してくださいね。
車で駐車場まで登る方は別の入り口になりますのでMAPをご参考ください
ここで大きな倒木はやめてください・・・

Early in the morning, we went to Kouzesaan, which we had forgotten to climb in the Kikuma-cho and Onishi-cho area.
A concrete paved farm road is the trailhead.
The trailhead for Yamap is also here.
We were told that we could climb up to the parking lot below the Kouze Shrine, so we took our scooter up.
The road is narrow, but paved and easy to ride for a while.
From there, the road enters a narrow and steep cedar forest.
The path is covered with cedar branches and is very slippery.
Just as we were about to reach the parking lot, we came upon a huge fallen tree.

It was very difficult to stop the scooter at this place.
I got stuck while making a U-turn…
From there, we switched to walking and went to the parking lot of Kouze Shrine.
To my surprise, I found a thicker roadway in the other direction!
Apparently, there is a roadway that goes around quite a big turn.
From the parking lot, we passed through the torii gate and climbed up the slope.
After climbing for a while, you will see a magnificent shrine.
In front of the shrine, there is a magnificent gazebo.
This is a viewing spot from which you can see all the islands of the Shimanami Sea Route.
We enjoyed a wonderful view of the mountains, the sea, and the blue sky in the early morning.
Climbing further up, there is a torii gate and beyond it, the Kouze Shrine.
In the past, Kouze Castle used to be located here.
The triangulation point was located right in front of the shrine.
It is a great view and highly recommended, but if you are not on foot, please find a way around.
