立石山・サウンド波間田展望台 展望台と磐座を楽しめる山（愛媛県越智郡上島町・生名島）標高138.6m
生名島のキャンプ場であるサウンド波間田から、道路を挟んで立石山の登山口があります。
きれいな石畳が続く道を登っていくと、立石山噴水広場に。
ここから遊歩道が始まります。
登っていくと、背の高い竹林の道になります。
竹と竹がぶつかり合い、カンコンと鳴り響く、面白いエリアです。
竹林を過ぎると、天空へと続く階段道。
先には展望台が見えてきます。
立派な展望台なのですが、階段の板が駆逐して落ちてしまっており、使用禁止となっています。残念！
それでも、岩城島と生名島の美しい景色を眺められます。
展望台からさらに奥に進むと、まずは三角点が待っています。
さらに奥に進むと、巨石群が現れました。
磐座という立石山遺跡で、陽石（男性）と陰石（女性）をはじめ、数多くの石が並んでいます。
古墳好き、巨石群好きには堪らない場所ですね。
こちらからは弓削島方面の美しい景色を眺めることができました。

The trailhead for Tateishiyama is across the road from Sound Hakanda, a campground on Ikuna Island.
Climbing up the beautiful stone-paved path, you will come to the Tateishiyama Fountain Plaza.
A walking trail begins here.
As you climb up, you will come to a path through a tall bamboo grove.
It is an interesting area where bamboos collide with each other, making a resounding “kankon” sound.
After passing through the bamboo grove, a stairway leads to the sky.
You will see an observatory ahead.
It is a magnificent observatory, but the planks of the stairway have been destroyed and fallen down, so it is prohibited to use. Too bad!
Still, it offers a beautiful view of Iwaki Island and Ikuna Island.
If you go further back from the observatory, you will first find a triangular point waiting for you.
Further in, a group of megaliths appears.
The group of stones are the ruins of Tateishiyama called “Banza,” and include a number of stones, including a youseki (male) and a inseki (female).
This is an unforgettable place for those who love ancient tombs and megalithic groups.
From here, we could see a beautiful view toward Yuge Island.
