飯野山・讃岐富士 平野の眺望を楽しみながら登れる独立峰（香川県丸亀市・香川県坂出市）標高421.9m
前回、登りに行ったら雨で雲に隠れてしまっていた讃岐富士こと飯野山。
登山って計画すると、どうして雨になってしまうでしょうね？
今回は天候に合わせて、リベンジ登山に行ってきました！
飯野山の登山口は3ヶ所ありますが、基本入門編の丸亀野外活動センター側から登ります。
飯ノ山西麓古墳のある広場駐車場に車を停めてスタート。
少し歩いて飯野登山口へ。
登山口にはトイレもあります。
登山口からは階段側を登っていきます。
宝性寺跡の広場を抜けると、坂出登山口からの登山道と合流します。
ここから通常の登山コースと、直登コースに分かれます。
上りは通常の登山コースで。
このあたりが4合目なのですが、ここから山を縦断する形となり、丸亀側の景色を眺めながら登れます。
傾斜は緩く、道の整備がしっかりしており、とても歩きやすいです。
ベンチや案内板のある眺望スポットも2ヶ所あり、退屈せずに登れます。
最後に分岐点がありますが、とりあえずはまっすぐ進んでいくと、ぐるっと回って飯野山山頂です。
山頂は薬師堂や石碑などがある広場。
少し奥まったところに三角点もあります。
広場には眺望はないのですが、おじょもの足跡の方に少し下ると展望台があります。
展望台からは土器川が流れる平野を一望することができます。
香川県は山々が低いため、眺望がとても広く感じます。
ちなみに「おじょも」というのは伝説の巨人のことだそうです。
下りは直登コース側を降りてみました。
かなり傾斜がきついのですが、下りだと早い早い。
上りの半分ぐらいの時間で降りることができました。
こちらから登ってきた方とすれ違いましたが、かなりしんどそうです。
「頑張って！」と心の中で応援していました。

道の補修のため石や岩を持って上がる
ボランティアがあります
ちょっと疲れた頃に素晴らしい眺望を楽しめます

The last time I went to climb Mt. Iino, aka Sanuki Fuji, it was raining and hidden by clouds.
Why does it always rain when you plan to climb a mountain?
This time, we took advantage of the weather and went for a revenge climb!
There are three trailheads to Mt. Iino: Iino, Sakaide, and Iiyama, but we climbed from the Iino trailhead on the Marugame Outdoor Activity Center side of the basic introductory route.
Park your car at the parking lot of the plaza where the Iino mountain west foot burial mound is located and start the climb.
Walk a short distance to the Iino trailhead.
There are toilets at the trailhead.
From the trailhead, climb up the stair side.
After passing through the square at the site of Hoseiji Temple, the trail joins the trail from the Sakaide trailhead.
From here, the trail splits into the regular trail and the direct trail.
The normal trail is the way up.
This is the fourth station, and from this point, the trail traverses the mountain, allowing you to enjoy the view of the Marugame side of the mountain as you climb.
The slope is gentle and the path is well maintained, making it very easy to walk.
There are two viewpoints with benches and information boards, so you can climb without getting bored.
There is a junction at the end, but for now, continue straight ahead and you will turn around to reach the summit of Mt.
The summit is a square with a Yakushido hall and a stone monument.
There is also a triangular point a little further back.
There is no view from the plaza, but there is an observation deck a little further down toward the footprints of Ojomo.
From the observatory, you can see a panoramic view of the plain through which the Doji River flows.
Because the mountains in Kagawa Prefecture are low, the view is very expansive.
By the way, “Ojomo” is said to be a legendary giant.
On the way down, we took the direct climbing side.
The slope was quite steep, but the descent was fast and easy.
It took us about half the time of the ascent.
I passed a climber who came up from this side, but he seemed to be having a hard time.
I cheered him on in my heart, “Hang in there! I cheered him on in my heart.
