二ノ森 愛媛二番目の標高の山 鞍瀬ノ頭→二ノ森（愛媛県西条市・愛媛県上浮穴郡久万高原町）標高1929m
鞍瀬ノ頭から二ノ森へ。
まずは、二ノ森に下りてトラバース道と合流です。
あまり人が通っていないためか、低いながらも笹漕ぎです。
二ノ森の北側斜面には雪がかなり残っています。
さて、登山道はどうでしょう？
雪道が少しあって、雪のない道があって、飛び飛びな状況が続きます。
本当に、南側に笹があるだけで雪が残り、そうでないところは溶けています。
しばらくは、登山靴のまま登っていたのですが、途中からスパイクチェーンの装着です。
山頂直前から一気に雪道に。
モナカ雪のため、踏み抜きまくりです。
どなたかの足跡を踏みながら進んでいきますが、それでも踏み抜きます。
最後の木立の道を抜けると、空が開けて、二ノ森山頂の雪の広場が出迎えてくれます。
二ノ森、標高1929.6m。
愛媛県で2番目の標高のお山です。
二ノ森の名前の由来を調べてみたところ
一ノ森（鞍瀬の頭）と、三ノ森（面河の頭）の間にあるから
という解説を見つけたのですが、正しいでしょうか？
諸説ありましたら、教えていただければと思います。
二ノ森からは石鎚山の南壁が一望できます。
西ノ冠岳、弥山、天狗岳、南尖峰。
ようやく、石鎚山系の山の並びを体感したような気がします。
この日は平野の方では花粉の霞が凄かったようですが、標高1900mは澄んでいます。
岩黒山、筒上山もきれいに見ることができました。
この日は二ノ森でお昼ごはん。
素晴らしい景色を堪能しながら、いつものおにぎりと春雨スープをいただきました。
ずっと眺めていたいのですが、時間は13時を過ぎてきました。
堂ヶ森までの美しい景色を眺めながら下り、あとはひたすら急な登山道を下り、17時40分に保井野登山口に到着。
日は沈んでしまいましたが、なんとか明るいうちに下山できて良かったです。
こちらの方が距離が短いです
笹や木々の裏側には雪が残っています
これが繰り返されるので、早めにスパイクチェーンを装着した方が良かったです
この日の気温は20℃超で風が吹かないと暑いぐらい
3月1日なのに（汗）
完全にモナカ雪の道です
ここから踏み抜きまくりです…

From Kurase-no-kashira to Ninomori.
First, descend to Ninomori and join the traverse path.
Perhaps because few people pass this way, it’s a bit of a bushwhack through the low bamboo grass.
The northern slope of Ninomori still holds quite a bit of snow.
Now, what about the trail itself?
We encounter patches of snowy trail, sections without snow, and this sporadic pattern continues.
Truly, snow lingers only where bamboo grass grows on the south side; elsewhere, it’s melted away.
I kept climbing in my hiking boots for a while, but eventually switched to spike chains.
Just before the summit, it suddenly became a snowy path.
It was powder snow, so I kept breaking through.
I followed someone else’s footprints, but I still broke through.
After passing through the last patch of trees, the sky opened up, and the snowy plaza at the summit of Ninomori welcomed me.
Ninomori, elevation 1929.6m.
It’s the second highest peak in Ehime Prefecture.
Looking into the origin of Ninomori’s name,
I found an explanation that it’s because it lies between Ichinomori (Kurase no Kashira) and Sannomori (Omogo no Kashira).
Is this correct?
If there are other theories, I’d appreciate hearing them.
From Ninomori, the southern wall of Mount Ishizuchi unfolds before you.
Nishikanmuridake, Misen, Tengudake, Nansenbou.
Finally, I felt like I truly experienced the sequence of mountains in the Ishizuchi range.
While the plains below were shrouded in heavy pollen haze that day, the air at 1,900m was crystal clear.
I could also see Iwakuroyama and Tsutsujousan clearly.
We had lunch at Ninomori that day.
We enjoyed our usual rice balls and glass noodle soup while taking in the magnificent scenery.
I could have gazed forever, but it was already past 1 PM.
We descended while admiring the beautiful views all the way to Dōgamori, then plunged down a steep trail. We reached the Hōino trailhead at 5:40 PM.
The sun had set, but I was glad we managed to descend before it got completely dark.
