物住頭 物住エリアのてっぺん 伊藤玉男さんが命名（愛媛県新居浜市）標高1635m
前赤石山をトラバースしていきます。
トラバース道もなかなかの岩場です。
このあたりから西赤石山も見えてきます。
しばらく歩くと、物住頭も見えてきました。
上を見ると、前赤石山の見事な岩稜。
なかなか歩きがいのある道です。
トラバース道を抜けると、文字が見えなくなった標識があります。
ここで小休止。
あとは木々の間を抜けて登っていくと、物住頭に到着です。
ここも立派な銅板の標識と三角点があります。
物住頭という名前は、銅山峰ヒュッテの管理人だった伊藤玉男さんが1934年に名づけられたとのことです。
このあたりの南面一帯が「物住」と呼ばれていたそうです。
このまま奥に進むと、上兜や串ヶ峰へと続きます。
（上兜山までは30分、その先の下兜山へはさらに2時間、その途中に串ヶ峰があります）
物住頭から、先ほど登れなかった前赤石山を眺めます。
それにしても見事な岩山です。
どうやってあの尾根を歩くのでしょうね？

物住頭へは、このまままっすぐ進んで登っていきます
次回は行ってみたいですね
（その先の下兜までは更に２時間かかります）

We traverse Maeakaishiyama.
The traverse path is quite rocky.
From around here, Nishi-akaishiyama comes into view.
After walking for a while, Monozuminokashira also comes into view.
Looking up, we see the magnificent rocky ridgeline of Maeakaishiyama.
It’s a path that’s quite rewarding to walk.
Once you exit the traverse path, you’ll find a sign where the text has faded.
Time for a short break here.
From here, continue climbing through the trees, and you’ll arrive at Monzumigashira.
Here, too, there is a fine copper sign and a triangulation point.
The name “Monzuminokashira” was reportedly given in 1934 by Mr. Tamao Ito, who was the caretaker of the Dōzanmine Hut.
Apparently, the entire southern slope in this area used to be called “Monzumi.”
If you continue further in this direction, the trail leads to Kamikabuto and Kushigamine.
(It takes 30 minutes to reach Mt. Kamikabuto, another 2 hours to Mt. Shimokabuto beyond that, and Kushigamine lies along the way.)
From Monozumigashira, I gaze at Mt. Maeakaishi, which I couldn’t climb earlier.
It really is a magnificent rocky mountain.
I wonder how one walks along that ridge?
