伊勢山・まんじゅう山　海側が登山口！アスレチックを楽しみました（愛媛県越智郡上島町・弓削島）標高56.5m

弓削島登山、続いて弓削中学校の横にある「まんじゅう山」こと伊勢山です。
こちらは2年前に登りにいったのですが、YAMAPで参考にした方のルートが無茶なルートで、茨の藪に阻まれて断念しました。
今回はきちんと予習をしてリベンジです！

以前は弓削小学校・弓削中学校の敷地内だと思っていた場所が、実は敷地外。
弓削中学校の体育館だと思っていたのは、上島町弓削体育館。
そのため体育館と小学校・中学校の間の道は、通ってよいのですよね。
海沿いに、この道をまっすぐ進めば、伊勢山の登山口です。
まんじゅう山の標識があります。

島の子どもたちが作った「かみじま事典」によると、この山にはアスレチック・トリムコースがあるのですよね。
登山口から、アスレチックコースのスタートです！
そう、棘の藪ではなく、これが見たかったのですよ！

かなり古くなっていますが、アスレチックに順番にチャレンジしながら登っていきます。
上まで登ると、前方に草の山が。
この山が山頂らしいです。

右手側に道があるので入っていきます。
すると、ものすごい量の草が待っているのですが、迂回して進んでいきます。
そのまま道を回り込むと、山頂の遊具、タイヤタワーに到着です。
少し奥に三角点も見つけました。

眺望はよく、入口の弓削中学校側が見えます。
奥には弓削大橋も眺めることができます。

わずか標高56.5mですが、リベンジ登山ということもあり、とても充実した時間でした。

この体育館は弓削小学校・弓削中学校のものではなく弓削体育館だったのですよね
ということでこの間の道は通れます

After climbing Yuge Island, I headed to Mt. Ise—also known as “Manju Mountain”—located next to Yuge Junior High School.
I tried climbing this mountain two years ago, but the route I found on YAMAP was impractical, and I was blocked by a thicket of brambles, so I had to give up.
This time, I did my research properly and am here for a rematch!

I used to think this place was on the grounds of Yuge Junior High School, but it’s actually outside the school grounds.
What I thought was the Yuge Junior High School gym is actually the Kamijima Town Yuge Gymnasium.
That means it’s okay to walk along the path between the gym and the junior high school, right?
If you head straight along this path by the sea, you’ll reach the trailhead for Mt. Ise.
There’s a sign for “Manju Mountain.”

According to the “Kamijima Encyclopedia” created by the island’s children, there’s an adventure course on this mountain.
The adventure course starts right at the trailhead!
That’s right—this is what I wanted to see, not a thicket of thorns!

It’s quite old, but I made my way up while tackling the obstacle course challenges one by one.
When I reached the top, I saw a grassy hill ahead.
It seems this hill is the summit.

There’s a path on the right, so I turned onto it.
A massive amount of grass awaited me there, but I worked my way around it.
Following the path as it curved, I arrived at the summit’s playground equipment: the tire tower.
I also spotted a triangulation point a little further back.

The view is great; you can see the Yuge Junior High School side near the entrance.
In the distance, you can also see the Yuge Bridge.

Although the elevation is only 56.5 meters, since this was my “revenge hike,” it was a very fulfilling experience.
