三山　弓削島最高峰　三山展望の森（愛媛県越智郡上島町・弓削島）標高325.3m

弓削島登山、弓削島最高峰の三山に向かいます。
林道三石支線を上がっていきます。
分岐点では、右側の上る道に進みます。
次の分岐を左折すると道が終了して、登山口となります。
三山生活環境保全林の案内看板があります。

歩き始めるとすぐに分岐があります。
案内看板を見ていると、どちらに進んでも良さそうですが、左の階段一択です。

階段は場所により、草が生い茂っているところと、歩きやすい場所があります。
道は一本でわかりやすいのですが、後半は草原となっています。
歩いていると、足元から山鳩が飛び出してきて、もしかしたら巣を壊していないだろうか？と心配になりました。
慎重に進んでいると最後は、一部分だけ草のないエリアに。
ここが三山山頂のようです。

夏場は草ぼうぼうとのことでしたので、この季節でギリギリぐらいかもしれません。
残念ながら眺望は全くありませんでしたが、冬は葉が落ちて景色を楽しめるそうです。

これで、弓削島のお山は完全制覇！のはず。

続いて、佐島に向かいます。

Hiking on Yuge Island: Heading for the Mt.Miyama, the highest point on the island.
We’ll head up the Miishi Branch Forest Road.
At the fork, take the path going uphill on the right.
Turn left at the next fork; the road ends there, and you’ll reach the trailhead.
There’s an information sign for the Mt.Miyama Living Environment Conservation Forest.

You’ll come to a fork almost immediately after starting your hike.
Looking at the sign, it seems like either path would work, but the stairs on the left are your only option.

Depending on the spot, the stairs are either overgrown with grass or easy to walk on.
There’s only one path, so it’s easy to follow, but the latter half is a grassy meadow.
As I was walking, a wood pigeon flew out from under my feet, and I worried I might have disturbed its nest.
Proceeding cautiously, I finally reached a small area with no grass.
This appears to be the summit of Mount Miyama.

I’d heard the grass gets really overgrown in the summer, so this might be just about the right time of year to visit.
Unfortunately, there was absolutely no view, but I’ve heard that in winter, when the leaves have fallen, you can enjoy the scenery.

With that, I should have completely conquered all the mountains on Yuge Island!
