新谷神南山 池田亀五郎洞窟・神南山大権現と見どころのある山（愛媛県大洲市）標高654.2ｍ
神南山鞍部分岐点から右手（西）へ。
すぐに分岐がありますが、標識に従い右手の道へ。
しばらく進むと「神南山頂上近道」の標識がありますので、折り返して登っていきます。
ここからは山道となります。
杉木立の山道を登っていくと「山頂まで約500m」の標識が。
【ちょっと厳しいですよ】と書いてありますが、ここから本格的に登りがスタートします。
登り切ったあたりで、左右の道に分かれます。
どちらも同じ場所に着きますが、右の登りの道を選んでください。
左の平坦な道は先が荒れ果てています。
右の登りの道にはご褒美があって、池田亀五郎洞窟という岩が待っています。
岩の下が洞窟になっており、明治時代末期の大泥棒が隠れ場所にしていたのだとか。
ピークを下りると、先ほどの道に合流します。
さてもう一息！
進んでいくと、整備されてベンチもある祠があります。
ここが神南山大権現、通称 弥勒さんです。
ようやく眺望を楽しめる場所です。
とはいうものの、ここは山頂ではありません。
さらに奥に進んでいくと、ようやく山頂に。
標高654m、「東京スカイツリーが20m下に見えませんか？」という標識が楽しいですね。
やっぱり、この辺の学校は登山があるのでしょうかね？
お地蔵さんや三角点もありました。
さらに進むとパラグライダー発進地に着くと思われます。
さて、戻って東の五十崎神南山に向かいます！
案内標識がしっかりしているので迷うことはありません
確かに急な登りが続きます
左の道は荒れまくっているのでお薦めしません
右の登り道は名所に続きます
大泥棒の隠れ家を名所にするところが面白いですね
かなり有名な大泥棒だったそうです
うっかり安心してしまうと山頂を見逃してしまいます
男山の方が標高が低いのが面白いですね

From the Kannanzan saddle junction, head to the right (west).
There is a branch soon after, follow the sign to the right.
After a short distance, you will see a sign that reads, “Kannanzan Summit Shortcut,” so turn around and continue up the mountain.
From here, the trail becomes a mountain path.
As you climb up the cedar grove mountain path, you will see a sign that says, “About 500 meters to the summit.
The climb begins in earnest here.
At the end of the climb, the path splits into right and left paths.
Both paths lead to the same place, but you should choose the right path.
The flat path on the left is rough ahead.
The right uphill path has a reward: a rock called Ikeda Kamegoro Cave awaits you.
The bottom of the rock is a cave, which was used as a hiding place by a great thief at the end of the Meiji Era.
Descending the peak, the trail joins the path ahead.
Now we are ready for another break!
As you continue on, you will find a well-maintained shrine with benches.
This is Kannanzan Daigongen, also known as Maroku-san.
Finally, we are at a place where we can enjoy the view.
However, this is not the summit.
If you go further back, you will finally reach the summit.
The elevation is 654 meters, and the sign “Can you see Tokyo Sky Tree 20 meters below? The sign “Can’t you see Tokyo Sky Tree 20 meters below?
After all, do schools around here have mountain climbing?
There was also a Jizo-san and a triangular point.
Further on, we think we will reach the paraglider launch site.
Now, we will go back and head east to Mt. Ikazaki-Kannnanzan!
