赤星山 広々とした草原の山頂広場から瀬戸内海と街並みの眺望を楽しむ（愛媛県四国中央市）標高1453.2m
千丈滝から赤星山へ！
千丈滝からしばらく歩くと登山道の合流点に。
ここからは、ひたすら急登の山道を登っていきます。
苔エリアを過ぎると、杉林エリアに入っていきます。
見事に管理された杉林が、この高度にあることが驚きです。
空が近づいているようで、なかなか近づけない道。
かなり疲れてきますが、残り0.5kmの標識で元気が出ます。
最後の山道を登って、空に近づくと、なんと広々とした草原が広がります。
赤星山山頂に到着。
お馴染みの逆三角形の赤星山の標識。
三角点は少し離れた場所に。
豊受山と反対方向には、津根登山口の標識と、中尾登山口・林道登山口の標識がありました。
この日は曇りだったのですが、瀬戸内海と新居浜の町を眺めることができました。
眺望が広く、標高1453mを感じにくいのですが、とにかく、急登で疲れました。
赤星山は登りなれないと、かなり体力を使いますね。
さて、おにぎりを食べて休憩したら、豊受山への縦走です！
登山口からずっと沢の横を登ってきましたが
ここで水と別れます
ようやくゴールが見えてきました
急登のため、かなり疲労が溜まってしまいました
足を停めて風景を楽しみます
空が近づいてきます
尾根まで登り切ると・・・
ここだけ草原広場になっていることに驚きました

From Senjo Falls to Mt.Akahoshi!
After walking for a while from Senjo Falls, you will reach the confluence of the trails.
From here, you will just continue up the steep trail.
After passing a moss area, you will enter a cedar forest area.
It is amazing to see a beautifully managed cedar forest at this altitude.
The sky seems to be getting closer and closer to the path.
We are getting quite tired, but a sign with 0.5 km to go gives us some energy.
As we climb the last mountain path and get closer to the sky, what a spacious meadow opens up.
We arrive at the summit of Mt.Akahoshi.
The familiar inverted triangle sign of Mt.Akahoshi.
The triangle is a short distance away.
In the opposite direction of Mt. Toyouke, there was a sign for the Tsune trailhead and a sign for the Nakao trailhead and forest road trailhead.
It was a cloudy day, but we could see the Seto Inland Sea and the town of Niihama.
The view was so wide that it was hard to feel the elevation of 1453 meters, but anyway, the steep climb made me tired.
If you are not used to climbing Mt. Akahoshi, it takes a lot of energy.
Now, after eating a rice ball and taking a break, we will traverse to Mt.Toyouke!
