衣掛山・衣掛城址 和田家 岩伽羅城の支城（愛媛県東温市）標高485m
本日は東温市のお山に。
向井古墳から奥の道に進んでいくと、林道日吉谷線に入ります。
杉木立の中をしばらく進んでいくと、道が二手に分かれます。
ここが衣掛山・岩伽羅山の登山口。
衣掛山への小さな案内看板が目印です。
細道のため私はスクーターで行きましたが、車が1台ありました。
（後ほどお会いすることに）
登山口からまずは小さな川を越えて山の中へ。
巡視路にもなっていますので、道はかなりしっかりしています。
定期的に衣掛山への案内板があるので、迷うことはありません。
しばらく登ると鉄塔が見えてきました。
26番鉄塔です。
衣掛山まであと少し。
山頂の手前から、右側にトラバース道がありますが、山頂へは木々の間を登っていきます。
昔は案内板や道があったようですが、今はないため、とにかくピークに向かって登ります。
城址ということもあり、山頂は広場になっています。
小さな祠と、衣掛城址由緒の説明版がありました。
岩伽羅城の支城はなんと5城も！
衣掛城（樋口）
吉山城（志津川）
不動城（山之内）
烏ヶ嶽城（山之内）
粉退城（西岡）
当時の和田家の勢力がわかりますね。
山頂には三角点も眺望もありません。
さて、本城の岩伽羅城址のある岩伽羅山に向かいます！
狭いですが木立の景色が美し道です
車がある場所が少し広くなっています
この車の方々と後ほど合流することに
奥に進むとまずは小さな沢を越えるところからスタート
滑らないように注意！

Today we are in the mountains of Toon City.
As you proceed from the Mukai burial mound to the back of the mountain, you will enter a forest road, Hiyoshidani Line.
After a short distance through a grove of cedar trees, the path splits into two.
This is the trailhead for Mt.Iwagara.

Because of the narrow path, I took a scooter, but there was one car there.
(We will meet later).
From the trailhead, we first crossed a small river into the mountain.
The path is quite well marked as it is also a patrol route.
There are regular signs to Mt. Korogake, so you won’t get lost.
After climbing for a while, you will see a steel tower.
This is tower No. 26.
We are almost to Mt.Kinugake.
There is a traverse path on the right before the summit, but you will have to climb up through the trees to reach the summit.
There used to be an information board and a path, but there is none now, so we climb toward the peak anyway.
As it is the site of a castle, the summit is a plaza.
There is a small shrine and a sign explaining the history of the Kinugake castle ruins.
There are a total of five branch castles of Iwagara Castle!

Yoshiyama Castle (Shizukawa)
Fudo Castle (Yamanouchi)
Karasugatake Castle (Yamanouchi)
Koudake Castle (Nishioka)
You can see the power of the Wada family at that time.
There is no triangular point or view at the top of the mountain.
Now, we will head for Mt. Iwagara where the main castle, Iwagara Castle Ruins, is located!
