遠見山 遠くが見えない過去の生活を感じる自然林の山（愛媛県西宇和郡伊方町）標高130m
佐田岬半島スクーター登山の旅。
5つ目の山は遠見山。
権現山から北に向かって降りていきます。
三机地区の半島お山が遠見山です。
県道255号線を下っていくと、遠見山の案内標識があり、ここから細道に入っていきます。
地元の方の道のため、車で入っていくのはお勧めしません。
道を登り続けて、ピークあたりに車が1台だけ止められそうな、コンクリ補装の小道があります。
ここが登山口です。
中に入っていくと、笹藪の中に小道が見えますので突入します。
しばらくは道なりに歩いていきます。
佐田岬ならではの、石垣があちこちにあります。
最後は自然林と化した、広場があります。
石垣で区切られているため、昔は畑だったのでしょうね。
YAMAPの山頂あたりには何もありません。
何らかの杭が近くにあるだけです。
後で調べると、東に130m進むと三角点があるのだとか。知らんがな。
遠くが見える遠見山ですが、残念ながら現在は眺望ゼロです。
開墾時代は、きれいに遠くが見渡せていたのでしょうね。
ということで、自然林の探検でした。
続いて、金比羅山に向かいます！

A Scooter Hiking Trip on the Sada Misaki Peninsula.
The fifth mountain is Mt. Tomi.
We head down north from Mt. Gongen.
Mt. Tomi is the mountain on the peninsula in the Mikiki district.
As you drive down Prefectural Route 255, you’ll see a sign for Mt. Tomi; from here, you turn onto a narrow path.
Since this is a local road, I don’t recommend driving on it.
Continue up the road until you reach a concrete-paved path near the peak where there’s just enough space to park a single car.
This is the trailhead.
Head inside, and you’ll see a path through the bamboo thicket—just go for it.
Follow the path for a while.
There are stone walls here and there, a characteristic feature of Sada Misaki.
At the end, there’s a clearing that has turned into a natural forest.
Since it’s bordered by stone walls, it must have been a farm field in the past.
There’s nothing at the summit marked on YAMAP.
There’s just some kind of marker nearby.
I looked it up later and found out there’s a triangulation point 130 meters to the east. Who knew?
Though it’s called “Tomi-yama” (View Mountain), unfortunately, there’s currently zero visibility.
Back when the land was cultivated, you could probably see far into the distance.
So, that was my exploration of the natural forest.
