平岡山（平岡城址） 車道からの眺望が素晴らしい（愛媛県伊予市）
伊予市の大平に行った際、周囲の山々をYAMAPで調べてみると、近くに平岡山（平岡城址）がありました。
近くまで車で行けそうなので、早速行ってみます。
途中、3ヶ所ほど離合不可能な道がありますが、それ以外は比較的広い道で走りやすいです。
頂上には平岡の集落が。
1日2便のバス停「平岡」の前に車を停めて、まずは天神社まで歩きます。
登山前のお参りを済ませて、民家方面に歩きます。
右折して、登山口である比較的きれいな道に入ります。
上には墓石のある広場が。
ここから尾根を登ります。
笹と木の枝をかいくぐりながら進むと、城址と思われる石が山積みとなっています。
この山積みの石を超えて奥に行くと、さらに山積みの石が。
YAMAPを見ると、もう少しで山頂なのですが、あまりの笹藪状態で山頂は諦めました。
山頂に眺望は全くありません。
しかし、バス停までの車道から見える景色は素晴らしいです。

When I visited Ohira in Iyo City, I checked the surrounding mountains with YAMAP and found Hiraokayama (Hiraoka castle ruins) nearby.
It seemed possible to drive close by, so we went there immediately.
On the way there, there are three places where it is impossible to separate from the road, but other than that, the road is relatively wide and easy to drive.
At the top is the village of Hiraoka.
Park in front of the Hiraoka bus stop, which runs twice a day, and walk first to Tenjinja Shrine.
After paying your respects before climbing the mountain, walk toward a private residence.
Turn right onto a relatively clean road that is the trailhead.
Above you is a square with a gravestone.
From here, climb up the ridge.
As you continue on the trail, you will see a pile of stones that appear to be the ruins of a castle.
After passing this pile of stones, you will come to a further pile of stones.
According to the YAMAP map, we were almost at the summit, but the bamboo thicket was so thick that we gave up on the summit.
There is no view from the summit.
However, the view from the roadway to the bus stop is wonderful.
