桜の園（とべ動物園入口横）と大下田古墳群桜の園（愛媛県伊予郡砥部町）
2022年の歩き納め。
愛媛県総合運動公園の上野町側から入り、西大池裏を回り、こども広場へ。
そこから、知る人ぞ知るとべ動物園東口に登り、そこから大下田上池に降っていきます。
この降りはなかなか趣のある山景色です。
そこからとべ動物園の正面ゲートへ。
とべ動物園入口横から登っていくと、桜の園という桜の名所があります。
この辺り一体が古墳群となっており、桜の園の小山が古墳で、大下田古墳群の一号古墳となっています。
知らなかった。
今度、この辺りの古墳巡りしてみます。

The last walking in 2022.
Entering from the Ueno-machi side of Ehime Sports Park, go around the back of Nishi Ooike Pond to the Children’s Plaza.
From there, we climbed up to the east entrance of the Torobe Zoo, which is well known to those in the know, and then descended to the Oshimoda Kami-ike Pond.
This descent is quite a quaint mountain view.
From there, go to the front gate of the Tobe Zoo.
Climbing up from the side of the Tobe Zoo entrance, you will find a cherry blossom viewing spot called Sakura-no-en (Cherry Blossom Garden).
The whole area around here is a group of ancient tombs, and the small hill in the cherry blossom garden is a burial mound, the first burial mound of the Oshimoda burial mound group.
I did not know that.
I will visit the tombs in this area next time.
