古岩屋 秋の遊歩道を楽しむ（愛媛県上浮穴郡久万高原町）標高約500m
紅葉を見に古岩屋へ。
少し遅かったですが、少し紅葉を楽しむことができました。
古岩屋は、約2000年前の地層が残る巨大な大岩壁です。
他にはない、景色を楽しめます。
皆さん、県道12号線沿いの景色ばかりを楽しんでいるのですが、古岩屋にはあちこちに遊歩道が整備されています。
こちらを散歩してきました。
落ち葉で敷き詰められた道と、車道の両方から登っていけます。
せっかくなので、両方の道を歩いてみました。
遊歩道をしばらく歩くと、古岩屋大師堂に到着。
横にある大きなイチョウの木から、落ち葉がたくさん舞い落ちていて、とてもきれいでした。
さらに登っていくと、古岩屋不動尊につきます。
ここには正岡子規の句碑もあります。
「夏の日の ひえてしたたる 岩間かな」
ここが凄いのは、礼拝堂の後ろにある「不動岳」の岩肌の大甌穴の中に、不動明王が祀られているのですよね。
なかなか見ごたえのある景色した。
ここがメジャーな景観ですよね
国道沿いの「不動尊・紅葉谷」の標識からの遊歩道がお薦め！
ここに設置するのはかなりの大事業だったのでしょうね

Visited Furu-Iwaya to see the autumn leaves.
Though a bit late, I still managed to enjoy some autumn colors.
Furu-Iwaya is a massive rock wall preserving strata from about 2,000 years ago.
It offers scenery you won’t find anywhere else.
While most people enjoy the views along Prefectural Route 12, Furu-Iwaya has walking paths maintained throughout the area.
I took a stroll along these paths.
You can ascend via both the path carpeted with fallen leaves and the roadway.
Since I was there, I walked both paths.
After walking the trail for a while, I arrived at Furu-Iwaya Daishido.
Numerous fallen leaves drifted down from the large ginkgo tree beside it, creating a beautiful scene.
Continuing further up, I reached Furu-Iwaya Fudōson.
Here, there’s also a monument inscribed with a haiku by Masaoka Shiki:
“Summer day, chilled and dripping, rock crevices.”
What’s amazing here is that Fudō Myōō is enshrined inside a large pothole in the rock face of “Fudōdake” behind the chapel.
It was quite a sight to behold.
