肱川あらし展望公園 斎藤山と肱川河口と瀬戸内の海が一望できます（愛媛県大洲市長浜）標高159m
壺神山に登っていく途中で、肱川あらし展望公園の案内板があったので寄り道してきました。
肱川あらしをご存じない方に、少しだけ説明。
肱川あらしとは、10月頃から翌年の3月頃まで、晴天の日には冷気に霧を伴った強風のことを言います。
大洲盆地の冷気が、霧を伴って肱川沿いを一気に流れ出すという現象です。
私もテレビでしか見たことがありません。
肱川あらしの映像をどこから撮影しているのかな？
と思っていたのですが、それが、この肱川あらし展望公園です！
ここの展望台からの景色は素晴らしいです！
向かいには斎藤山、見下ろすと長浜大橋、肱川河口が一望できます。
ちなみに長浜大橋は、日本最古の道路可動橋（バスキュール式鉄鋼開閉橋）だそうです。
ここまでは道も広く、駐車場もありますので、自動車で登ってこられます。
今年の冬シーズンは、生の肱川あらしを見てみたいですね♪

On the way up to Mount Tsubogami, we stopped by the Hiji River Arashi Observation Park, where we saw an information board.
For those who don’t know what an Hiji River Arashi is, here’s a little explanation.
An Hiji River storm is a strong wind with cold air and fog on sunny days from around October to March of the following year.
This phenomenon occurs when the cold air in the Ozu Basin flows out along the Hiji River at once, accompanied by fog.
I have only seen this on TV.
I wondered where they filmed the Hiji River storm from?
I was wondering, and that is the Hiji River Arashi Observation Park!
The view from the observatory here is fantastic!
Across the way is Mount Saito, and looking down you can see the Nagahama Bridge and the mouth of the Hiji River.
Incidentally, the Nagahama Bridge is said to be the oldest movable road bridge (bascule-type steel opening and closing bridge) in Japan.
The road is wide and there is a parking area, so you can drive up to this point.
This winter season, I would like to see a live Hiji River Arashi♪
