金山寺山・金山寺山展望台 大久保諶之丞の銅像（香川県善通寺市）標高152.8m
愛宕山から琴平公園の金山寺山展望台へ。
山道をしばらく降りていくと階段に。
あれ？金山寺山展望台までまっすぐ行けるはずだったのですが、降りすぎてしまったようです。
階段を登り直して、金山寺山展望台へ到着。
夕日の中、先ほどまでいた大麻山と象頭山を眺めることができます。
奥に立派な銅像がありました。
明治初期に、四国新道(国道32号・33号の前身)や香川用水、瀬戸大橋を提唱した大久保諶之丞の銅像とのこと。
ちなみに、尽誠学園の創始者はは実弟の大久保彦三郎とのこと。
景色を堪能したら階段を下ります。
すぐに舗装道へ。
こちらからだとすぐに展望台に到着しますね。
たぶん、どこかで分岐を見逃したようです

Atago-yama to the Kanayama-ji Observation Deck in Kotohira Park.
After descending the mountain path for a while, we came to a stairway.
Huh? It was supposed to go straight up to the Kanayama-ji Observation Deck, but it seems we went down too far.
We climbed the stairs again and arrived at the Kanayama-dera Observation Deck.
In the setting sun, we could see Mt.
There was a magnificent bronze statue in the back.
It is a bronze statue of Okubo Chinnojo, who advocated the Shikoku New Road (the predecessor of National Routes 32 and 33), water for Kagawa, and the Seto Ohashi Bridge in the early Meiji period.
Incidentally, the founder of Jisei Gakuen was his own brother, Hikosaburo Okubo.
After enjoying the view, go down the stairs.
You will soon reach a paved path.
From here, you will soon reach the observatory.
