高茂岬 愛媛県最南端にある美しい岬（愛媛県南宇和郡愛南町）
仕事で宇和島に来たので、高茂岬に行ってみよう！
と軽く思ったのですが、なんと60kmもの道のりが待っていました。
船越半島に入ると、道が細いです。
軽く思いついたらダメですね（汗）
とにもかくにも、高茂岬に到着。
突然、広い駐車場が現れます。
駐車場にはトイレがあり、2階が展望場となっています。
愛媛でも水平線が見れるのですね！
さっそく、下りていくと、まずは広場が待っています。
広場の入口には展望の白い東屋が。
ここからの景色も素晴らしいですね。
広場を抜けてまっすぐ進むと高茂埼灯台に。
豊後水道の安全を守ってくれている灯台です。
広場から下りていくと、草原の斜面の先に海が広がる美しい景色が待っています！
ここは素晴らしいですね。
写真で見るより100倍くらい素晴らしいです。
ざっとした測定ですが、標高150mぐらいから、標高100mぐらいまで、斜面に遊歩道が整備されています。
美しい草原、美しい海、美しい海岸線。
風も景色も気持ちよく、ずっと眺めていられます。
鼻面岬もよく見えます。
振り返ると、船越半島の権現山を眺めることができます。
こちらの山は、YAMAPを見ても登り方がわかりませんでした。
登れるようでしたら、いつか登ってみたいですね。
ここからの景色は入門編ぐらいな感じです

ちなみに上には登れません
これぞ高茂岬！という美しい風景
地図から考えると写真右の鼻面岬が愛媛県最南端のはず
リアス式海岸の景色も良いですね
更に右手は九州地方
暑い日でしたが風が気持ちよく
ずっとこの景色の中にいたい！と思います
異国の地にいる感覚になります
宇和島市の三浦半島の三浦権現山（標高489m）とほぼ同じ高さ

I came to Uwajima for work, so I thought I’d visit Koumo Cape!
But it turned out to be a 60 km drive.
Once you enter the Funakoshi Peninsula, the roads are narrow.
I shouldn’t have taken it so lightly (sweat).
Anyway, I arrived at Koumo Cape.
Suddenly, a large parking lot appeared.
The parking lot has a restroom, and the second floor is an observation deck.
You can see the horizon even in Ehime!
As soon as I went down, there was a plaza waiting for me.
At the entrance to the plaza is a white pavilion with a view.
The scenery from here is also wonderful.
Going straight past the plaza leads to Koumo Cape Lighthouse.
This lighthouse safeguards the safety of the Bungo Strait.
Going down from the plaza, there is a beautiful view of the sea spreading out beyond the grassy slope!
This place is amazing.
It’s about 100 times more beautiful than in photos.
Roughly speaking, there is a walking path along the slope from an elevation of about 150 meters to about 100 meters.
Beautiful grasslands, beautiful sea, beautiful coastline.
The breeze and the scenery are so pleasant that you could just keep looking at them forever.
Hana-mo Cape is also clearly visible.
Looking back, you can see Gongen-yama on Funakoshi Peninsula.
I couldn’t figure out how to climb this mountain even by looking at YAMAP.
If it’s possible to climb it, I’d like to try someday.
