猪伏の大トチ・ケヤキ平 神々しい巨木の広場（愛媛県上浮穴郡久万高原町）標高1175m
前回、ガスと雨で行けなかったケヤキ平に。
五段高原から天狗高原の北側を歩く遊歩道です。
入口には駐車場があり、数台の駐車が可能です。
ほとんど人がいないので、たぶん、大丈夫です。
遊歩道入口からケヤキ平の水場まで800m、水場から猪伏の大トチまで1200m。
往復1時間半程度の行程です。
まずは、どんどん降りていき、そこから横に歩く感じです。
ある程度のアップダウンはありますが、山道を歩きなれた方ならあまり高低差を感じないかも。
午前中は、北側で太陽が当たらないので、暗くて、気温が低めです。
午後は山の西側にまわった太陽が、ある程度照らしてくれます。
今回は晴天に恵まれましたが、木々がほぼ落葉しており、ケヤキの木々の雰囲気は楽しめませんでした。
反対に、道は落ち葉でふかふかで気持ちが良かったです。
カルストの石灰岩と落ち葉が混ざった道は、珍しいですね。
一体が苔のエリアもあり、良い雰囲気でした。
水場を過ぎると、時々、倒木も現れます。
何も標識はありませんので、黙々と歩き続けます。
猪伏の大トチ直前で、案内標識のある広場に。
ここから雰囲気が一気に変わります。
大きなトチの木がたくさんあり、どれなんだろう？と考えながら進みます。
すると巨大な倒木が立ちふさがります。
倒木はなんと2本、ある意味、結界のような雰囲気ですね。
倒木を超えると、目の前に猪伏の大トチを中心とした広場に。
正午過ぎで、太陽の光も降り注ぎ、神々しさが素晴らしかったです。
「猪伏の大トチ」樹齢約600年！
幹の周りが約6.26mに及ぶ巨木です。
林野庁が選定した「森の巨人たち百選」に選ばれています。
言葉で説明しにくいのですが、なんか、ずっとここに居たいなと思う雰囲気。
ゆっくりお弁当でも食べながら、この世界に浸っていたいですね。
四国カルストでありながら、カルストの景色とは全く違うケヤキ平。
往復1時間半程度ですので、ぜひ、立ち寄ってみてくださいね。

ここをくぐると、いよいよ「猪伏の大トチ」とご対面
午前中は日が入らず寂しい感じとのことですが、正午過ぎはこんなに気持ちの良い広場に！

We went to Keyakidaira, which we could not go to last time due to gas and rain.
This is a walking trail from Godan Kogen to the north side of Tengu Kogen.
There is a parking lot at the entrance and several cars can be parked.
Since there are almost no people, it is probably safe.
It is 800 meters from the entrance of the promenade to the water hole of Keyakidaira, and 1200 meters from the water hole to the big horse chestnut of Inobushi.
The round trip takes about one and a half hours.
First, you will go downhill and then walk sideways.
There are some ups and downs, but if you are used to walking on mountain paths, you may not feel much difference in elevation.
In the morning, it is dark and cool because the sun does not shine on the north side of the mountain.
In the afternoon, the sun comes around to the west side of the mountain and provides some light.
Although we were blessed with clear skies this time, the trees were almost completely defoliated, so we could not enjoy the atmosphere of the zelkova trees.
On the contrary, the road was nice and soft with fallen leaves.
It is rare to see a path with a mixture of karst limestone and fallen leaves.
There was also an area where one part was moss, which was a nice atmosphere.
After passing the waterhole, fallen trees also appeared from time to time.
There were no signs, so we continued walking in silence.
Just before the large ash of Inobushi, we came to a square with a sign.
The atmosphere changes dramatically from here.
There are many large horse chestnut trees. We continued on our way, wondering which one it was.
Then we came upon a huge fallen tree.
In a sense, it is like a boundary.
After passing over the fallen trees, we came to a plaza centering on the great ash tree of Inobushi in front of us.
It was just after noon, the sun was shining, and the atmosphere was divine.
The “Great Birch of Inobushi” is about 600 years old!
It is a huge tree with a trunk circumference of approximately 6.26 meters.
It was selected as one of the “100 giants of the forest” by the Forestry Agency.
It is hard to explain in words, but the atmosphere makes me want to stay here forever.
I would like to immerse myself in this world while slowly eating my lunch.
Despite being in the Shikoku Karst, the scenery of the Zelkova Plain is completely different from that of the Shikoku Karst.
It takes about one and a half hours round trip, so please stop by.
