石手寺裏山の奥の院から、大きな弘法大師像が眺められます。
まず、ここから見た後に、弘法大師像に向かいます。
知る人ぞ知る登り口。
薮を掻き分け掻き分け進んでいきます。
ちょっと気軽に•••とはいかない小山です。
標高は低いですが、気合いを入りて挑みましょう！
薮の中から、突然、頂上に。
見事な弘法大師像を見上げることができます。
高さ16m、体は中国、顔はインドを向いているのだとか。
本当に見事です。
帰りなのですが、ふと横を見ると、車が登ってこれる道が。
（管理のためなので一般車は不可）
なんだ、この道？
と歩いて降りてみると、なんとなんと、あっという間に降りてしまいます。
まさに天国と地獄（笑）
楽したい方は裏道からどうぞ。
でも、やっぱり修験道の表側から登った方が楽しいですね。

This is a unique local maniac story.
The large statue of Kobo Daishi can be viewed from the inner sanctuary in the back of Ishite-ji Temple.
First, see it from here, then go to the statue of Kobo Daishi.
The beginning of the ascent for those in the know.
We waded through the bushes to get to the top.
It is a small mountain that is not so easy to climb.
The elevation is low, but we must be determined!
Suddenly, you are at the top of the mountain.
You can look up at the magnificent statue of Kobo Daishi.
It is 16 meters high, with his body facing China and his face facing India.
It is truly magnificent.
On the way back to the temple, I looked to the side and saw a path for cars to climb up.
(This is for management purposes, so no ordinary cars are allowed.)
What is this road?
I walked down it, and to my surprise, I got off in no time at all.
It is truly heaven and hell.
If you want to have fun, please take the back road.
But it is more fun to climb up from the front side of Shugendo.
