石墨山 唐岬の滝登山口→石墨分岐（愛媛県上浮穴郡久万高原町）標高1455.99m
本日は晴天なり！
皿ヶ峰連峰 東温アルプスの東端に位置に位置する石墨山に登ります！
引地山から法師山までは縦走していますので、いよいよ最後のお山です。
前回は井内峠登山口から登って法師山でタイムアウトになりましたので、今回は唐岬の滝登山口からスタートです。
唐岬の滝の入口から10mぐらい道沿いに進んだ所に登山口があります。
距離は3.5km。
このコースは、とにかく登り！登りのコースです。
まずは杉林の中を登っていきます。
黙々と登る感じでしょうか。
30分程登ると、割石峠に続く尾根にでます。
まずは最初の分岐点。
山小屋 石望山荘が目印です。
ここから石墨山に向かって登っていきます。
前半は比較的なだらかなのですが、後半はとにかく急登です。
子どもの頃に
「山はまっすぐ登ると大変だから、道を曲げるのですよ」
と教えられたのですが、そんなことは無視して一直線に登っていきます。
ロープを張ってくれていますが、頼りすぎずに登っていきましょう。
急登を続けて、笹が広がってきたら尾根までもう少し。
石墨分岐の尾根に到着すると、一気に景色が変わります。
東温アルプスルートは、眺望がほとんどないのですが、石墨分岐からの眺望は素晴らしいの一言です！
皿ヶ峰連峰の尾根を一望できるのはこの辺りのみ。
しばらく感慨にふけっておりました。
ここから太陽光が当たりますので、上着を脱いで、帽子を被って、水分補給。
さて、石墨山へ向かいます。
道はわかりにくので標識が目印です

It is a fine day today!
We will climb Mt. Ishizumi, located at the eastern end of the Saragamine mountain range Toon Alps!
Since we have already traversed from Hikichi Mountain to Houshi Mountain, this is the last mountain we will climb.
Last time, we climbed from the Iuchi Pass trailhead and timed out at Mount Houshi, so this time we will start from the Karakai Waterfall trailhead.
The trailhead is about 10 meters along the road from the entrance of Karakai Waterfall.
The distance is 3.5 km.
This course is a climb anyway! This is a climbing course.
First, you will climb through a cedar forest.
You may feel as if you are climbing silently.
After about 30 minutes, you will reach a ridge leading to the Wariishi Pass.
This is the first junction.
The Ishimochi Sanso mountain lodge is a landmark.
From here, we will climb toward Mt. Ishizumi.
The first half of the climb is relatively gentle, but the second half is very steep.
When I was a child
I was taught as a child, “It is difficult to climb a mountain straight up, so you have to make a turn.
But we ignored this and climbed in a straight line.
They have ropes, but don’t rely on them too much.
Continue to climb steeply, and when the bamboo grass spreads out, you are almost to the ridge.
When you reach the ridge at the Ishiboku junction, the view changes dramatically.
The Tōon Alps route offers few views, but the view from the Ishiboku junction is nothing short of spectacular!
This is the only place where you can see the whole ridge of the Saragamine mountain range.
We were deeply moved for a while.
The sun shines from here, so we took off our jackets, put on hats, and rehydrated.
Now, we will head for Mt. Ishizumi.
