金山出石寺 見どころ満載の四国別格第7番 出石山・金山（愛媛県大洲市）#標高820m
先日、時間切れで行けなかった金山出石寺。
ふと時間が空いたので行ってきました。
出石山（金山）の山頂にある四国別格第7番のお寺です。
この山は、古くから銅を産出していたため金山とも呼ばれるそうです。
とはいうものの・・・
雨が小降りになることを期待して行ったのですが、さすがに標高800m近くは雲の中（汗）
※翌日は各種警報が出るお天気に
本来でしたら、石鎚山や大野ヶ原などの四国連山が一望できる寺院とのことですが、真っ白な雲の景色となってしまいました。
道中の道は、きれいな2車線道路でしたので、このまま山頂まで続くのかと思いきや、残り8.5kmからはかなり細い道に。
必死に離合ポイントをチェックしながら登りましたが、さすがに天候のためか、独占状態で助かりました。
お寺は約3000株の紫陽花や、朝鮮鐘、護摩堂、鹿伝説など、見どころ満載なのですが、なにせ雲の中。

ちなみに、出石山山頂は本堂の場所となります。

The other day, I ran out of time and couldn’t go to Kanayamasyusseki Temple.
I suddenly had some free time, so I went there.
This is Shikoku’s separate No. 7 temple, located on the summit of Mount Izushi (Gold Mountain).
This mountain has been producing copper for a long time and is therefore also called Kinzan.
Having said that…
We went there in the hope that it would rain lightly, but as expected at an altitude of nearly 800 m, we were in the clouds.
The next day, various warnings were issued.
Originally, the temple was supposed to offer a panoramic view of the Shikoku mountain range, including Ishizuchi and Onogahara, but it turned out to be a pure white cloud landscape.
The road on the way was a clean two-lane road, so I thought it would continue all the way to the summit, but from 8.5 km remaining, the road became quite narrow.
We climbed up the mountain, frantically checking the separation points, but as expected due to the weather, we were saved by the monopoly.
The temple is full of attractions such as about 3,000 hydrangea plants, the Korean bell, the gomado and the legend of the deer, but at any rate it was under cloud cover.
We will visit this temple more carefully at a later date!
Incidentally, the summit of Mount Izushi is the location of the main hall.
