亀山 現存12天守の丸亀城が鎮座するお山（香川県丸亀市）標高66m
丸亀城が鎮座する亀山に登ってきました。
現存12天守のうち4城が四国にあり、香川県には1城、それが丸亀城です。
天守の高さは14.66m。
現存天守のなかで最も小さい天守とのこと。
お堀から見上げていると感じなかったのですが、間近でみると驚くほど小さかったです。
重要文化財でもある大手門の一の門、二の門をくぐって城内に。
見事な石垣を眺めながら、天守に向けて登っていきます。
途中、二の丸井戸がありました。
井戸の深さはなんと約65m。
城山の中腹にあることもあり、日本一深い井戸と言われています。
山頂の石垣の四隅には展望ゾーンが整備されていました。
丸亀市を全方向に一望することができます。
飯野山や青ノ山を眺めることができました。
一角には、三角点もありました。
天守閣にも上がってみました。
本当に小さなお城です。
雲で景色が白かったですが、格子窓から丸亀の景色を眺めることができました。
羽板重三郎が自分が作った見事な石垣を、いとも簡単に登ってしまったのが原因なのだとか…
こちらは飯野山、少し左手を見ると青ノ山が見えます

I climbed Kameyama, where Marugame Castle sits.
Four of the 12 existing castle keepers are located in Shikoku, and one in Kagawa Prefecture, and that is Marugame Castle.
The height of the castle tower is 14.66 meters.
It is the smallest of the existing keepers.
I did not feel it when looking up from the moat, but it was surprisingly small up close.
We passed through the first and second gates of Otemon, which are also important cultural properties, and entered the castle.
We climbed up toward the castle tower, admiring the magnificent stonewalls.
On the way up, we found the Ninomaru Well.
The depth of the well is about 65 meters.
It is said to be the deepest well in Japan, partly because it is located halfway up the castle.
An observation zone was maintained at the four corners of the stone wall at the top of the mountain.
It offers a panoramic view of Marugame City in all directions.
We could see Mt. Iino and Mt. Aono.
There was also a triangular point in one corner.
We also went up to the castle tower.
It is really a small castle.
The scenery was white with clouds, but we could see the view of Marugame through the lattice window.
