名石山　眺望が素晴らしい浅海の「天空の鳥居」（愛媛県松山市）標高297m

午後の夕方前。
旧北条市でのお仕事まで、1時間半ほどフリータイムができたので名石山に登ってきました。
スラックスの上に雨カッパを履いて、上半身はネクタイです（笑）

名石山は標高297mですが、登山口は標高約180mほど。
標高差110mぐらいのお散歩コースです。
登山口から山頂までの距離は約750m。
普段着でも簡単に登れる、良き眺望のお山です。

なんといっても、名石山にも「天空の鳥居」があるのですよね。
山頂にあるのは、名石金毘羅神社の祠です。
登山口も山頂も桜の名所なのですが、この時期は本当に眺望が良いのです。
まさに「天空の鳥居」の景色を楽しめます。

美しい瀬戸内海の海と空の景色。
惠良山、腰折山、新城山の山並み。
そして、そびえる高縄山を拝めます。
名石山は独立峰ですので、本当に素晴らしい眺望が楽しめます。

今日はぽかぽかお天気でしたので、山頂でのんびりとして下りてきました。
おやつ持っていけば良かったですね。

Late afternoon, just before dusk.
I had about an hour and a half free before work in the former Kitajō City, so I climbed Mt. Meishaku.
I wore a raincoat over my slacks, and my upper body was still in a tie.

Mt. Meishaku has an elevation of 297m, but the trailhead is around 180m.
It’s a leisurely hike with an elevation gain of about 110m.
The distance from the trailhead to the summit is about 750m.
It’s an easy mountain to climb even in everyday clothes, offering great views.

Above all, Mount Meishiyama also has its own “Torii Gate in the Sky.”
The shrine at the summit is Meishikompira Shrine.
Both the trailhead and summit are famous for cherry blossoms, but the views are truly spectacular this time of year.
You can fully enjoy the scenery of the “Torii Gate in the Sky.”

The beautiful scenery of the Seto Inland Sea, its waters and sky.
The mountain ranges of Mt. Eryou, Mt. Koshiore, and Mt. Shinjo.
And you can see the towering Mt. Takanawa.
Since Mt. Naishi is an isolated peak, you can truly enjoy magnificent views.

Today was a warm and sunny day, so I relaxed at the summit before heading back down.
I wish I’d brought some snacks.
