尉之山 眺望が素晴らしい尉之城跡（愛媛県松山市）標高383m
松山市津吉にある山田新池の横を進んでいくと舗装路が行き止まります。
ここが尉之山の登山口です。
沢沿いに登っていきます。
しばらくはコンクリート舗装の道が続きます。
後半はかなり荒れているところもありますが、立派な道です。
コンクリート舗装道が終わり、山道に入ります。
夏場は藪が凄いと思うのですが、秋は蜘蛛の巣さえ気をつければ、山頂まできれいな道が続いています。
山頂に近づくと尉之城の案内石碑がたくさんあり、迷うことはありません。

山頂は広場になっており祠があります。
ここに尉之城があったのですね。
祠の北側は素晴らしい眺望！
松山平野と周辺の山々が一望できるスポットです。
あまり期待していなかっただけに、かなり得した気分でした。
秋はお薦めですよ！
さて、休憩したら、小山岳まで縦走します。

As you continue along the side of Yamada Shinpike in Tsuyoshi, Matsuyama City, the paved road dead-ends.
This is the trailhead for Mt. Jouno.
Climb up along the stream.
A concrete paved path continues for a while.
The latter half of the trail is quite rough in places, but it is a fine trail.
After the concrete paved trail ends, you will enter a mountain trail.
In the summer, the path is very thick, but in the fall, as long as you watch out for cobwebs, it is a beautiful path all the way to the summit.
As you approach the summit, there are many stone monuments to guide you to the castle, so you will not get lost.

Jou-no-jo Trailhead
The summit of the mountain is a square with a shrine.
This is where Jou-no-jo used to be.
The north side of the shrine offers a wonderful view of the Matsuyama Plain and the surrounding mountains!
The Matsuyama Plain and the surrounding mountains can be seen from this spot.
I was not expecting much, but I felt like I got a lot out of it.
I recommend it in the fall!
Now, after taking a break, we will traverse up to Mt. Koyama.
