愛宕山公園展望台 貯水槽上のパノラマ展望台（愛媛県八幡浜市）標高130m
八幡浜市に来たので、行きたかった愛宕山公園展望台に。
しかしながら、近づけど、近づけど、展望台への入口が見つかりません。
・・・ここ、公園ですよね？？
実は、愛宕山公園展望台は愛宕第3配水池という貯水槽の上にあります。
貯水槽を展望台にしてしまう発想が素晴らしいですね！
しかしながら、展望台への階段が道崩れを起こしており、入口にロープが張られていました。
これはわからない。
自己責任ということで、思い切って登ってきました。
階段は所どころ崩れているものの歩くのには困りません。
しかし、階段を覆う草藪が大変です。
特に、野バラがひっかかるので、気をつけないと衣服が破れます。
展望台までは比較的すぐに着きます。
貯水槽の横に、愛宕第3配水池のプレートのある階段棟がありますので登っていきます。
頂上には、円形の通路がありパノラマの景色が楽しめます。
中央にはさらに上に登れる屋内展望台があるのですが、残念ながら鍵がかかっておりました。
八幡浜の街並みが一望できる展望台。
思った以上に、湾内の平地が狭くて驚きました。
本日は曇天でしたが、晴天の景色は素晴らしいこと間違いなしです！

Since I came to Yawatahama City, I wanted to go to the Atagoyama Park Observatory.
However, as I got closer and closer, I couldn’t find the entrance to the observatory.
… This is a park, right?
Actually, the Atagoyama Park Observation Deck is on top of a water reservoir called Atago No. 3 Water Distribution Pond.
The idea of turning a water tank into an observatory is brilliant!
However, the stairs to the observatory had collapsed and a rope had been put up at the entrance.
This is not understandable.
We ventured up at our own risk.
The staircase is collapsed in places, but it is not difficult to walk on.
However, the grass bushes covering the stairs are very difficult.
In particular, wild roses can snag you and tear your clothes if you are not careful.
It is relatively quick to reach the viewing platform.
Next to the water reservoir, there is a staircase building with a plaque of Atago No. 3 Water Distribution Pond, which you climb up.
At the top, there is a circular walkway offering panoramic views.
There is an indoor viewing platform in the centre where you can climb further up, but unfortunately it was locked.
The observatory offers a panoramic view of the city of Yawatahama.
I was surprised to find that the flat area in the bay was narrower than I expected.
It was cloudy today, but the view on a clear day is sure to be spectacular!
